Global Zen Sustainability consults, designs and teaches Permaculture. Permaculture is a scientifically-based, practical approach to designing human settlements and agricultural systems that is modeled on the relationships found in natural ecologies. Permaculture is also a design system based on a system of ethics and principles which can be used to establish, design, manage and improve all efforts made by individuals, households, business and communities towards a sustainable future. Permaculture aims to maximize the relationship between human and ecological systems, while minimizing the unsustainable impacts of modern civilization. Permaculture design offers practical community-based solutions that are systems based and develop smart design for land and garden re-design, social re-design and habitat revitalization.
